Yard Update

A busy stretch across every stage of build — from timber plug work on the new K6 tooling, right through to KC5407 - Ness, now out for commissioning and test sails. More updates as she puts in her sea miles.

KC5407 — Launched
KC5407 "Ness" has been launched and is now undergoing commissioning and test sails. Painted in a custom Riviera blue, she carries a Lapras graphic on the bow — a striking finishing touch after months under the shed lights, and a great one to see out on the water at last

K6 — Tooling & Hull Moulds
Work continues on the K6 tooling programme. The plug is taking shape, with the wood-strip hull plank-up well underway — that beautiful raw timber curve is where the final mould will be pulled from.

KC5408 — Interior & Systems Fit-Out, Painting Prep
Deep into interior and systems fit-out. Surface prep for paint is underway alongside it, with masking and fairing patches going on ahead of final coats.

KC5409 — Assembly
Bulkheads and structural framing going in, with the window surrounds vacuum-bagged and curing under plastic in the assembly bay.

KC5410 — Hulls Out of Moulds
Both hulls freshly demoulded and standing bow-to-bow — a striking shot with the raw carbon/glass surfaces still showing the mould release pattern before fairing begins.

KC6202 — Fit-Out
Progressing through fairing and prep, primer patches visible across the topsides ahead of final paint. This is the last KC62 hull in build before the yard's focus shifts to the new K6 model.
